We are delighted to celebrate the remarkable sporting achievement of Karthikeyan D., a student of Savitri Ammal Oriental Higher Secondary School, who represented the Lions Martial Arts team at the SAGFOI International Silambam Championship 2026, held at Pokhara Stadium, Nepal.

Competing on an international platform, the team delivered an exceptional performance, securing an impressive 22 Gold Medals and 2 Silver Medals. This achievement is a testament to the discipline, perseverance, and dedication demonstrated by the young athletes who represented their academy and country with distinction.

Karthikeyan’s participation at the international championship is a matter of great pride for the school. His achievement is further strengthened by his impressive performance in the State Silambam Championship 2026, where he secured First Place in the Under-14 Single Stick event.
