For over 25 years, the Thai Poosam Committee has been a valued partner in the educational journey of Savitri Ammal Oriental Higher Secondary School, extending unwavering support to its students. What began as a thoughtful initiative to provide notebooks gradually evolved over the years to include stationery, financial assistance towards students’ fees, and several other forms of educational support, reflecting the committee’s enduring commitment to nurturing young minds.

In continuation of this noble tradition, the committee honours students who achieve a perfect score (100/100) in individual subjects in the Higher Secondary Board Examination by presenting them with a cash award of ₹10,000 for each subject. This initiative serves as a meaningful recognition of exceptional academic excellence and motivates students to strive for the highest standards of achievement.
