Teachers Meeting 2026 – Empowering the Future: A Reflection on Our Annual Parents

Building a strong bridge between home and school is the cornerstone of academic success. On 21 June 2026, our school community came together for the annual Parents–Teachers Meeting (PTM). It was a day filled with celebration, insightful guidance, and a shared commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

Here is a detailed look at how the event unfolded.

A Melodious and Warm Commencement

The programme commenced on a serene note with a soulful prayer song rendered by our Music Teacher, Sri R. Hariharan. The divine melody set a peaceful and positive tone for the rest of the day.

Following the invocation, our respected Headmaster, Sri T. Paul, delivered the welcome address. He warmly greeted the gathered parents, expressed his gratitude for their unwavering support, and highlighted the school’s recent milestones, setting the stage for an interactive and productive session.

Celebrating Academic Excellence: The Merit Awards

The highlight of the event was the felicitation of our academic toppers. We extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Daya Balu, who generously sponsored a grand total of ₹2,00,000 to recognize and reward student merit.

The cash prizes were awarded to the top ten toppers across the 10th and 11th Standards, evenly recognizing excellence across both core streams. Each of the following students received a merit prize of ₹10,000:

  • Science Group: 5 Outstanding Toppers
  • Commerce Group: 5 Outstanding Toppers

The atmosphere was electric with pride as these brilliant minds walked up to the stage. The prizes were presented to the students alongside their proud parents by our esteemed dignitaries, Smt. Suba Mam and our Secretary, Sri T. Suresh.

A Quick Snapshot of the Merit Distribution:

  • Total Sponsorship: ₹2,00,000

Words of Wisdom from Our Secretary

Following the award ceremony, our Secretary, Sri T. Suresh, took the podium to deliver an incredibly inspiring and thought-provoking speech. Addressing the parents directly, he emphasized the critical role of modern parenting in a rapidly changing world.

He advised parents to:

  • Maintain Balanced Discipline: Striking the right chord by being appropriately strict yet approachable.
  • Stay Vigilant: Monitoring children’s daily activities, screen time, and peer circles.
  • Focus on Holistic Growth: Prioritizing emotional and mental well-being alongside academic percentages.

His words resonated deeply with the audience, serving as a gentle reminder that education is a collaborative effort between the school and the home.

A Grateful Conclusion

The memorable event drew to a close with a formal vote of thanks proposed by Sri K. Hariharan, PG Assistant (Sanskrit). He expressed sincere appreciation to the management, the generous sponsors, the dedicated teaching faculty, and, most importantly, the parents whose presence made the event a grand success.

As the day concluded, parents left with a renewed sense of partnership, and students left with their hearts full of motivation to reach even greater heights.
