Our school celebrated its 67th Annual Day in a grand manner in our school premises. Ms. Manjula Ponnapalli, a renowned singer, was the chief guest of the day. She encouraged the students with her inspiring speech. Our school secretary Sri T. Suresh, Justice Prabha Sridhevan Madam, and college secretary Sri Srikanth also graced the occasion and enjoyed the cultural programmes.
The event began with a Sanskrit sloka choir, followed by the welcome address and annual report presented by our HM-in-charge, Smt.S. Vidhya. Students gave their marvellous performances, and the highlight of the day was the Tamil drama “Srinivasa Padmavathi Kalyanam”, beautifully presented through iyal, isai, and nadagam, conveying a deep devotional message.
Students were honoured with proficiency prizes and cash awards sponsored by various trusts such as the Maharani Leelavanthi Bhatavia Trust, Paropakara Trust, and Thaipoosam Trust.
Teachers who achieved 100% results in board exams in their respective subjects were also rewarded with cash prizes in appreciation of their dedicated efforts.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Sri T. Paul, P.G. Assistant in Mathematics. The celebration was indeed a memorable day for everyone.
